Pioneering Excellence in Rubber Processing

The Freudenberg site of the HF GROUP has an impressive industrial history. Its roots go back to 1879, when Hermann Werner and Paul Pfleiderer developed the “MASTICATOR” kneading machine – a milestone that became the global standard in rubber processing. Over the decades, innovation, international expansion, and strategic mergers have shaped the site. In 1959, the acquisition of Harburger Eisenwerke by Friedrich Krupp Germany further strengthened the industrial base. Today, the site is part of the Possehl Group holding, a family-owned company with a long tradition.
Experts in development, design, manufacturing, and service work closely together in Freudenberg to deliver highly efficient, sustainable solutions for tyre manufacturers, the technical rubber industry, and specialised applications. Freudenberg is home to the production of machines such as INTERMIX®, TANDEM, BALECUT®, STRIPCUT®, UMIX®, TECNOLAB® Mixer and ADVISE® automation.
